Sunweb Group recently acquired Sweden’s fourth largest tour operator, Airtours. The acquisition strengthens our position in Sweden and is in line with our ambition to become one of the biggest holiday operators in the Nordic countries. We see Airtours as an ideal match for our expansion in the Nordics.

Airtours, which was founded in 1998, serves around 100,000 travellers every year. The acquisition will build on our existing business in Denmark and Sweden to become one of the leading players in the Nordics.

In 2023 Airtours continues operating as a separate entity within Sunweb Group. Thereafter, we will consider at how our businesses can become more integrated to make them more scalable. We will also look at how we can accelerate our growth together with you, our valued partner.
